Students will be responsible for coverage of all atletic sports. Student
trainers will learn injury assessment, injury prevention and injury
rehabilitation of all athletic injuries. Students will also develop strong
communication skills. All Student Trainers will be certified in first aid
and CPR. Any students wanting a career in the medical field or just wanting
to learn and be part of a team are welcome to interview and learn more about
the program. Approval by Athletic Training Staff is needed. |

listen to the news, and practice with current event games and tests
throughout the school year in preparation for the spring competition. The
test has 40 multiple choice questions and an essay. Students can advance as
far as state and win scholarships. |

This year the test focus is United States foriegn relations associated with
World War II. Students study primary and secondary sources and the novel
Citizen Soldiers in
preparation for the spring competition. The test format contains multiple
choice questions and an essay. Those who advance to state have the
opportunity to earn lucrative scholarships. |
