College Prep Workshops
Latinos Stand Up provides workshops for participants that actively engage students in choosing colleges, searching and applying for scholarships, writing resumes, and strategizing for college readiness.

SAT/ACT/PSAT Prep Classes
Latinos Stand Up provides preparation for college entrance exams to all junior and senior members.

Latinos Stand Up Dance Team
Our dance team combines one of the primary passions of students, dance, with our message of commitment to education. The team is required to meet set academic standards

Service Learning Projects
Latinos Stand Up commits to informing the student body and community about educational opportunities. Members also heighten awareness about educational legislation that can have a positive impact on the Latino community.

College Conferences and Workshops
Our organization attends multiple university and national organization sponsored conferences. These conferences promote leadership and expand student knowledge of their academic and professional options.

Parent Program
As we realize that our members are more successful with parent support, we offer classes through the Nimitz parent center that provide parents strategies to navigate the US school system. The center also offers other integration opportunities through English and computer classes.
