Adding a Banner

The Course Banner option allows you to place a banner on the main
course window. This can be a banner with the course title, or any
picture you like. The banner will be at the top of the Announcements
page of your Blackboard class, but will not appear at the top of any
other page. |

The banner will need to be created first as a picture (jpeg or gif). The
banner should be short and wide, so that it doesn’t cover too much of
the screen. You might want to match your banner to your course menu.

Find/make a
banner you want to use.
Click here for banners you can use. |

2. |
Go into the course where you want to add a banner. |
|
3. |
Click on Control Panel (at the bottom left side of the screen). |
|
4. |
Click on Course Design (at the bottom left side of the screen). |
|
5. |
Click on Course Banner. |
|
6. |
Click on the Browse button beside the New Banner field to find your
banner. |

7. |
Click Submit. |
