  International Children’s Digital Library

Digital children’s books complete with illustrations. Can search by language as well as level and interest. Titles available in 16 languages including Spanish, Farsi, Arabic, French, and Thai.

  Gale Virtual Reference Library

Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research.  Within each online book title, sections of the book can be downloaded or emailed to an account.  Your librarian (or the link below) can provide you the remote access password.

Choose from a Free list of current/new science fiction books that can be downloaded and read in a variety of formats.

 

Gutenberg Project  (Free)

Choose among our 16,000 free ebooks in the Project Gutenberg Catalog.  All Project Gutenberg ebooks are free for anyone living in the United States: You may download all our ebooks for your personal use for free.

 

Wiki Books  (Free)

Wikibooks is a Wikimedia project, set up on July 10, 2003. Since then, volunteers have written around 11,312 book modules in a multitude of books and more are added every week.

 

Wiki Junior  (Free)

The idea behind Wikijunior is to produce a series of full-color glossy booklets (48 pages, 8 ½ x 11) for a young audience (ages 8-11) on a variety of topics that interest kids.   These booklets will be richly illustrated with photographs, diagrams, sketches, and original drawings. They should be appealing to kids, and the writing should be light and friendly.
