How to Import Your Courses into the New Server

The new Blackboard servers have been installed and we have a more robust Blackboard 8.0 that is ready for use!  Better processors, faster connections and more advanced servers should make for a smoothly operating system.  If you have a course on the old Blackboard system (or one that you have archived) ... here are the instructions on how to import it into the new Blackboard server.

The web address for the new system is: http://blackboard.irvingisd.net

We will leave the old system (http://oldbb.irvingisd.net) up through September 15, 2008 to provide time for faculty and staff to finish exporting their courses from the old system if they have not yet done so. Please have all import needs taken care of by that time. At that time, we will also point all links on the district website to the new system as well.
