Stipends for Irving Graduates Now Teaching in Irving ISD

Attention first and second year teachers:

Elementary Bilingual, Special Ed., Foreign Language, Secondary Math and Science, and Speech Therapy who are in their first or second year of teaching and qualify for the IISD Graduate Stipends.

Must be an IISD Graduate teaching in IISD
Must be first year of creditable teaching experience
Teacher in designated IISD Acute Shortage Area

Can earn a $4,000 stipend:
- $2,000 will be paid for and in Year one (October), and
- $2,000 for and in Year Two (October)

If you are one those who qualify, make sure you have completed the attached form and send to the Director of Personnel I order to receive your stipend.

Deadline to apply for the stipend is October 10, 2008
