Kronos Check-In Procedures for
Paraprofessionals KRONOS Check In Procedures for Instructional Paraprofessionals for 4 Exchange Days The November 19 and 20, 2007 exchange days must be for two days of District Provided Training taken prior to November 1. (See Staff Development Guidelines for Paraprofessionals 2007-2008 for the many opportunities made available to accomplish this.) For those not meeting the above requirement the Administration Building will host the two days of required training on November 19 and 20 since all campuses will be officially closed on the 19th and 20th. Employees will be docked in their January paycheck for any days missed. How do you Clock-In? In order to get credit for the 2 days of training the KRONOS clock must be used in the following manner:
For a full day class you only have to clock in once and you will automatically be credited for an 8 hour day. For a half day class (which is 4 hours) you must clock in and out at the start and end of the class. For staff development outside of the district you will need to report this to the staff development department and your campus secretary by November 30th so she can manually edit your KRONOS time card in November to avoid being docked in January. NOTE: Campus Secretaries can use the November 19th and 20th dates to record these outside hours if the time was for a previous pay period that has already been signed off on. The exchange days in January will be taken with compensatory time for days worked mostly prior to the start of school or the employee will be required to work on those days since campuses will be open. Under extenuating conditions the principal may request the days to be added to the end an employee’s work calendar and must contact Cassie Barrera in Payroll to adjust their work schedule to avoid being docked. |
