Blog for NECC Attendees http://castinganet.wordpress.com NECC Attendees from Irving ISD: NECC in San Antonio is a huge conference and you may feel overwhelmed by so many sessions and great things to learn, so we wanted to bring a more focused approach to your experience. As you go to your selected sessions, we would like for you to find good examples of what you are learning and how it relates to the NETS Standards. (I have attached a copy below for you to review). Each day we would like you to reflect on your experiences and post your thoughts to our NECC Blog. We would like for you to post at least one comment per day on the conference under the related NETS standard to let us know what you are learning. Also, we would like for the whole group to meet together at least once during the conference. Right after the first keynote on Sunday, June 29 at 7:00pm, we would like for everyone to congregate at the back of the auditorium where the first keynote speaker will be. That way we can touch base and go over any last minute details. We hope that you go to the conference to learn new ways to integrate technology into math and science and come back with a renewed vision of what your classroom could be! Look forward to seeing everyone there!
