Out-of-School REGISTRATION

Registration Deadline: September 18, 2009

Individuals who are no longer enrolled in a Texas public school and who have not previously passed all sections of the TAKS, but have met all other graduation requirements, may retake the section(s) not mastered on the testing dates below.

REGISTRATION

Registration packets for Out-of-School students are available at all IISD high school campuses and the Irving ISD administration building. Packets are also available at all regional education service centers. It is also possible to register online by accessing http://www.TexasAssessment.com/taksoos. Your completed registration form must be received in Austin, Texas by 5:00 p.m. September 18, 2009.

TEST SITE

The designated Irving ISD OOS test site is Jack E. Singley Academy, 4601 N. MacArthur Blvd. Irving, Texas 75038.

All examinees must report to The Academy by 7:00 AM on the appropriate test administration day.
All examinees must show picture ID to be admitted to the testing site and take the TAKS administration.

The Texas Education Agency, NCS Pearson, and the Irving Independent School District will not be responsible for registration forms that are delayed or lost in the mail. To ensure that your form has been received before the deadline, you should obtain proof of mail delivery by sending the registration form by either registered or certified mail.
