Bloodborne Pathogens on Blackboard

Must be completed by October 31, 2007

All district employees are required to complete training every year on Bloodborne Pathogens.  To complete this requirement all staff can access the online Health Services course, review the online PowerPoint and take the Bloodborne review.

Instructions are below if you need help accessing this course.

INSTRUCTIONS

Go to the Irving ISD Blackboard site at:  blackboard.irvingisd.net

Click the “User Login” button and then use your district login and password to access the site.

Click on the “IISD Courses” tab in the upper left

In the course search field, type “bloodborne” and click “Go”

Find the course
     admin.health02_wusers : Health Services (Tuberculin Skin Test and Bloodborne Pathegens)
Click on the “Enroll” button on the far right hand side.

Click “Submit”
Click “OK”

Click on “Health Content” on the left column

Read the instructions and then click on “Bloodborne Pathogens” (red letters)
Click on “Bloodborne Pathogens PowerPoint”
Click on and view PowerPoint Presentation

After viewing PowerPoint, click on “Assignments” in left column

Click on the correct folder for your level
Click on the correct folder for your location
Click on the review for your school
Click “OK” to begin your review

To Take the Review
Clicking on the radio button of each answer you think is correct
When finished answering the questions, click “Submit”
Click “OK”
Review your answers and click “OK”

PRINT YOUR RESULTS PAGE as proof that you have completed the assignment:

If you FORGET to print your assignment results
you will have to take the assignment a
second time to get a results page.
