As part of its ongoing efforts to have a positive impact on the health of the youth in our community, Baylor Medical Center at Irving is offering Camp Airways, a free day camp for children with asthma.  Children between the ages of 8 and 12 are invited to attend.  Camp should be part of very child's experience, but often parent fee uneasy about allowing their child who has asthma to be exposed to triggers of asthma symptoms, such as pollens, campfire smoke and other irritants.  Activities for Camp Airways have been designed with the needs of these children in mind.  Respiratory therapist and nurses will be present during the camp to ensure the safety of all children.
