Birth Certificate Copies

Two different ways to obtain birth certificates:

1. In person at: Dallas County records building 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or in Irving.  Irving will only issue birth certificates from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and they ask that you call before you go to their office.  Your drivers license or a state issued ID is requested as form of identification. 

2. By mail:  Send a letter which contains: name on birth record, date of birth, place of birth, fathers full name, mothers maiden name, state your relationship to the child, a copy of your drivers license or state issued ID is also requested.

All copies are $23.00 each (Cash Only) Valid Texas ID Required
