Class of 2011 and Later
Students are strongly encouraged to pursue the Distinguished Achievement or Recommend Plan.  The following credits must be earned for each plan:

  * Drill team, marching band, and cheerleading taken during the fall semester; ROTC; Athletics: Dance I-IV; and a 2 or 3 credit career and technology course will substitute as a PE waiver or equivalent.

Distinguished Achievement Program

In order to complete the Distinguished Achievement Program students must meet the requirements of the Recommended High School Program of which 5 credits must be earned in Pre-AP, GT, or AP level.

Additionally the student must complete 4 Advanced Measures to be chosen from any combination of:

  1. Original culminating research/project judged by a panel of professionals in the field of study, or conducted under the direction of mentor (s) and reported to an appropriate audience (Limited to 2).

  2. Score of 3 or better on a College Board AP Exam (Each exam can count as one measure).

  3. PSAT score that qualifies for recognition as a Commended Scholar or higher.

  4. College Courses: College Academic Courses and Tech Prep articulated college courses with a grade of 3.0 or higher.
