Dress Code
The Irving ISD dress code will be enforced, and in addition the following items will be checked each day while the student is attending the Secondary Reassignment Center:

          

  • No frayed or torn garments.

  • All shirts must have a collar and have no logo on the shirt.  High school students wear a white collared shirt.  Middle school students may wear a shirt that is an approved color from their home campus.  All shirts must be kept tucked in at all times.  Undergarments must be white.

  • All students must wear long pants.  No shorts are allowed.  Saggy /baggy pants will not be permitted.  Pants must fit around the waist and not sag or appear baggy, including pants that are manufactured to be baggy.  All pants must have a button or zipper fly.  No wind, stretch, cargo or combat pants.  Middle school students will wear their navy or khaki uniform pants.  High school students may wear denim pants.  No overalls. No shorts.

  • A belt will be worn at all times regardless of having belt loops on their clothing.

  •  Skirts may be no more than 2 inches above the knee.

  • All clothing must be size appropriate.

  • Shoes must be worn.  No open-toed or open-heeled shoes including sandals or slippers.  Shoe laces must be black or white.  No red or blue  or colored shoes laces.  Socks will be worn.

  • No jewelry of any kind including watches, tongue rings, etc...

  • No wallet chains.

  • No gang related clothing or decals.

  • Make-up cannot be brought to school.

  • Only clear fingernail polish may be worn.
