Cell Phone Recycling
Please check with your campus recycling
facilitator to find out if your school is currently set up to receive
and recycle cell phones and ink jet cartridges before registering your
campus on line.
Tips for successful recycling of cell phones
and ink jet cartridges:
-
Locate the
collection boxes (units) in a public area of your school/facility
(i.e., in the office). The public will be bringing in cell phones
for donation and should be able to find the collection box easily.
-
Dedicate a
person in the office (if the collection box is located there) as the
“point” person to keep an eye on the box (when it’s full or if there
is a problem).
-
Be sure to
educate office personnel about the program.
-
