Dear Future Kindergarten Parents,

We are so excited to welcome your child into our Schulze Elementary Kindergarten family next year!  It is our favorite thing to watch children learn and discover from day to day.  The next year will be filled with MANY fun and educational days that you and your child will remember for years to come. 

For the 2008-2009 school year, we are requesting that in lieu of school supplies, each parent pay us $30.  We have calculated that if you were to buy the specific supplies we are requesting it would cost you between $45 and $50.  We are able to request less because we have access to school supplies at discounted prices!  By giving this money, you are ensuring that our classrooms will be equipped with everything your child will need to have a successful year in Kindergarten. 

We will begin collecting money during Kindergarten registration, August 11th – 15th and the week before school starts August 18th -22nd in the Schulze office between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm.

Útiles de Kindergarten para el año 2008-2009

 

Para el año escolar 2008-2009, pedimos que usted no compre los útiles de su hijo/a en kindergarten.  ¡LAS MAESTRAS DE KINDERGARTEN EN LA ESCUELA SCHULZE COMPRARÁN TODOS LOS ÚTILES!  Pedimos solamente que usted envíe $30.00 en efectivo en un sobre para pagar por los útiles de su hijo/a. 

Los motivos por los que estamos pidiendo dinero en vez de útiles son:

1.     Muchos padres no saben exactamente los útiles que están pidiendo las maestras.  Existe confusión entre ciertos útiles como ser: libreta, cuaderno, carpetas, etc.

2.     Muchas maestras prefieren los útiles que sean de una marca preferida, cantidad preferida o tamaño preferido.

3.     Cuesta más trabajo a los padres buscar los útiles correctos en las tiendas.  (A veces buscando útiles para más de un hijo/a.)

4.     Es más trabajo para las maestras regresar con los alumnos los útiles equivocados y tratar de explicar o describir los útiles correctos.

5.     **Las maestras compran útiles con un descuento de maestra.  ¡Esto le ahorra a usted dinero!!  Si usted prefiere comprar los útiles, hemos calculado que le costará entre $45 y $50 dólares.

 

Estaremos colectando el dinero en la oficina de la escuela Schulze el lunes, 11 de agosto – 15 de agosto (durante la semana de matriculación de kindergarten) y también una semana antes del primer día de clases lunes, 18 de agosto – viernes, 22 de agosto entre las 8:00 a.m. hasta las 4:00 p.m. 

Si usted tiene preguntas, por favor llame a la escuela Schulze (972-985-3500) entre las 12:15 p.m. – 1:00 y pide hablar con unas de las maestras de kindergarten.
