Live Material

After your classroom live materials study is complete, you may do any of the following:

  1. Create a classroom habitat of your own and observe them throughout the year.
  2. Release them into the environment (IF you have read the manual and know that they are safe to release)
  3. Adopt the animals to students who will care for them at home <Suggested - Parental Acceptance Form>
  4. Return living materials to Heath Scientific <arrangements must be made with Pat or Heath by the teacher>
  5. Give to another grade level to observe.
  6. Dispose of the living materials humanely according to the Teacher Manual directions for each animal.
