Digital Paperless Curricular Supports This page was created to support the workshop conducted on June 17th as part of the 2009 Special Education Institute. Access and Tools - These are only SOME of the tools that are available "out there." Some we will highlight and discuss in the presentation; some can be explored at your leisure. Our district has had access to this suite for several years now. Look for it on your IISD computer under Start>Programs>Premier. This free application will read all PowerPoints presentations aloud. Humanware is the producer for the Classmate Reader reading machine. Updates to their software as well as videos and sources for electronic text are on their site. Web 2.0 - This is not an exhaustive list or discussion of Web 2.0 applications. The links here pertain to the presentation, along with some to be discovered by the participant. Collaborate online with others without emailing documents back and forth.
