Disability Resources

  • Irving Regional Day School Program for the Deaf
This site provides information regarding the program and services provided for students who are hearing impaired and their families.

  • Child Find Information
ChildFind is a program mandated by the federal government to find, identify, and serve all children with disabilities with an educational
    need for special education.

  • Transition Information
Information is available to assist parents in planning their students' futures after they leave high school.  Forms are available online to
assist them in collaborating with district staff for meaningful outcomes.

  • Occupational Therapy Products List
This is a list of supplies or products that Irving ISD Occupational Therapists typically recommend to students, teachers and parents to assist
students with handwriting, typing and/or sensory processing needs.  If there are any questions about supplies, teachers or parents can discuss
the need or appropriate use of equipment with their campus Occupational Therapist. When ordering equipment,
it is encouraged that you check several sources to find the most economical supplier, we do not endorse any one company.

  • Travel Resource
This booklet is designed for parents of children with autism traveling on planes through airports. However, it is a great resource for anyone traveling with
children, whether they have disabilities or not. It's from England.
