DEPARTMENT/GRADE LEVEL CHAIRPERSONS

Duties of the Department/Grade Level Chairperson:

  1. Inform the principal of the activities and needs of the department.

  2. Requisition the necessary equipment and supplies for the department.

  3. Call meetings from time to time for staff members to study and appraise the educational program.

  4. Correlate the program both horizontally and vertically with other departments/grade levels within the campus, cluster, and district.

  5. Teach classes as assigned.

  6. Perform such other duties as directed by the principal.
