Sales Representatives: Sales representatives from fund-raising organizations must have a permit
signed by the Superintendent of Schools or his designee before calling on
any school principal. Salespersons should not talk with a sponsor/teacher
before registering with, and obtaining permission from, the principal in
charge.
Fund Raising
Projects: Fund raising
projects must have the approval of the principal. Teachers and/or
students should not make arrangements or commitments with companies for
projects in anticipation of approval. Approval must be secured
before arrangements are made, and must be obtained on the official
Fundraising Authorization and Reconciliation form. At the conclusion of the
activity, the reconciliation portion of the form must be completed and
submitted to the office.
Class
or Department Sales: Class or
department sales must also be approved in advance and reconciled using the
official Fundraising Authorization and Reconciliation form. This includes
any type vending machine sales, sale of cold drinks, or any items that might
be purchased by students.
