FUND RAISING

Sales Representatives:  Sales representatives from fund-raising organizations must have a permit signed by the Superintendent of Schools or his designee before calling on any school principal.  Salespersons should not talk with a sponsor/teacher before registering with, and obtaining permission from, the principal in charge.

Fund Raising Projects:  Fund raising projects must have the approval of the principal.  Teachers and/or students should not make arrangements or commitments with companies for projects in anticipation of approval.  Approval must be secured before arrangements are made, and must be obtained on the official Fundraising Authorization and Reconciliation form.  At the conclusion of the activity, the reconciliation portion of the form must be completed and submitted to the office.

Class or Department Sales:  Class or department sales must also be approved in advance and reconciled using the official Fundraising Authorization and Reconciliation form.  This includes any type vending machine sales, sale of cold drinks, or any items that might be purchased by students.
