  • 2016-2017 Stipes Elementary Teacher of the Year


    Our newly elected Teacher of the Year for 2016-2017 is Gail Dinkelkamp.

    Mrs. Dinkelkamp started teaching in 1993 and has been at Stipes Elementary since 2010, and this year taught fifth grade.

    Gail Dinkelkamp is a leader, mentor and the definition of what it is to be Stallion Strong.

    We welcome you to join us Tuesday, May 17th from 4:30 PM – 7:00 pm and meet our Kindergarten teachers and tour their classrooms. Students that are new to Irving ISD will be able to complete their online registration and complete the enrollment process.

    Please join us for our “Stipes GT Showcase” on Tuesday, May 17 from 5:30-6:30 pm.






     Celebrating Diversity Celebrating Diversity

    On Friday, May 20th, we will have a special day, “Celebrating Diversity”, where students will be able to share and celebrate their background and heritage with their classmates. We will begin our day with a cultural parade at 8:20 a.m. Students are encouraged to wear clothing representing their heritage. Students should come dressed for the parade and may change after the parade, if necessary. Parents are invited to watch in our main hallway outside of the library. If your child would like to participate please have them create a sign or flag representing their country to carry during the parade.

    Stack Stack It Up 2015-2016 – Guiness World Records Day

    Stipes Elementary participated in breaking the Guiness world record for participants in cup stacking click on the link to watch the video highlighting Stipes.

    2016 Law Enforcement Torch Run penny drive benefitting Texas Special Olympics thru May 20th

    Help support Special Olympics by bringing in your change for our coin drive and purchasing a shirt! The shirts are $15 for sizes YS-A XXL and $18 for 3XL-4XL.
