A parent or guardian will need to bring the following documents when you register your child:

• Child's birth certificate
  Federal law requires all new students to provide the school with a copy of their birth certificate to be kept on file at the school.  Your child will not be enrolled without proper identification.
  How do I obtain a birth certificate?
   

• Child's social security card
  State law requires schools to request the student's social security number for the purpose of tracking student files and record keeping.  If your child does not have a social security card, contact the attendance clerk in the school office for information.
  What will I need to apply for a social security card?
   

• Proof of residency in Irving ISD
  Proof of residency may include a utility bill that has been mailed to your house within the last 30 days or a lease/purchase agreement of your residence.  If the proof of residency is under another person's name, you must complete a Residency Affidavit Form.  This district form will be available when you enroll.
   

• Child's shot record
  What are the required immunizations?
   

• Report card
  Please provide a copy of your child's last report card.

• Withdrawal paperwork
  If your child has attended another school during the current school year, you will need to bring a copy of the withdrawal paperwork from the previous school.  Your child must be withdrawn from the previous school before enrolling at a new school.
