Mr. Lanier We will be reviewing short story elements this week. We will also be reading the short story  "The Smartest Human I Ever Met, My Brother's Dog Shep"  by Victor Villasenor. We will be taking two-column notes, or a literary journal, on the story. This is a new type of note taking for these students. Our essay for this six weeks is an expository essay. We will be preparing for the essay this week and next.
