My name: Assignment: Write a message to one of the students in our Friends and Flags project. Ms. Eason will tell you the student's name. You will use this information to copy and paste into email messages, discussion boards, etc. Here is what should go in your message: 1) Your name, your age, your school name and city and state. 2) Tell the person what part of their package you liked the best and why you liked it. 3) Mention something about their letter to us that you found interesting and make a comment about that fact. (Example: I read that you liked the Beatles and I think that is cool. I read that you play soccer - how many hours a week do you have to practice?) 4) Ask them a question about their school, country, or about their interests - something that is not already on the display. 5) Say good bye. Thank them for participating in Friends and Flags! 6). You will copy and paste your finished message into a Microsoft Word document, check for spelling errors, and then copy and paste your message into your email to your Friends and Flags partner (or you can use parts of the message when you are on the the discussion board with the students in Isreal).
