Multimedia Projects for 3rd Grade

Mrs. Ramsey-Valez submited six sample projects that were a combination of student and teacher work.  Projects were created using KidPix and PowerPoint.

1.  The first project was a class research project on the planets of the solar system.  Teams of students were each given a planet to research and were asked to prepare PowerPoint slides about their planet.

2.  The second project was one were each student used KidPix to illustrate a picture.  Different student pictures were submitted as examples (one is shown below.)

3. Each member of the class conducted a survey on different topic and then created a chart to illustrate their results.  Below is shown the chart created by Cody Lair on the question "Who is your favorite Pokemon character?"

4.  The fourth project was a PowerPoint presentation prepared by the teacher to be used to teach science concepts of habitat, vertebrate/invertebrate, food chain, and more.

5.  The teacher also used PowerPoint to prepare a slide show for open house night.  Included in the slide show were photos of her students and quotes from each of them.

6.  Mrs. Ramsey-Valdez also prepared a PowerPoint presentation to use with students on opening day about her classroom and procedures.  The presentation included:  her day card, classroom rules, rewards, consequences, curriculum and grading policy.  She also used this presentation with parents to introduce herself at open house.
