ITS Positions
Irving ISD is unique in that it has an Instructional
Technology Specialist (ITS) on every campus. The ITS is an
exemplary
certified teacher whose job is to help with the integration of technology in
the classroom and to facilitate the implementation of new technology plans
or innovations on campus.
If you are interested an ITS position for the Irving
School District ... here is some information that will be helpful to you.
Here are some ways to prepare yourself for an ITS position in Irving:

portfolio of your student work

ITS interview

- Send a letter of interest and a resume by
email with the subject "ITS POSITION" to:

- All
non-IISD employees must also complete the
online application.
- Upon review of applications, we will contact
you for an interview:
- bring your portfolio and/or electronic
portfolio to this interview
- you will be interviewed by a team of Irving
technology educators
- this interview is to get you into the POOL of
approved ITS applicants
- Principals will call members of the POOL for campus
interviews
- principals will do the actual HIRING for their
campus
- principals will interview from the POOL of
approved ITS applicants only
