Nov. 29-Dec. 16: Irving Reads - The BFG: In an effort to create a culture of literacy in our school community, Irving ISD is once again providing all kindergarten through fifth-grade students and their families an opportunity to read a book together. Students will receive a copy of The BFG (The Big Friendly Giant) by Roald Dahl. We encourage you to read the book at home with your child beginning November 29, following a three-week reading schedule that will be distributed along with the book.
