Dress Code Reminder

For Girls and Boys:

  • Collared shirts, tucked in

  • Button up, turtleneck, or polo style

  • Short or long sleeved

  • Navy blue, light blue, royal blue, red, white, or hunter green
     

For Girls and Boys:

  • Navy blue or khaki pants

  • No denim or corduroy

  • No cargo pants

For Girls and Boys:

  • Navy blue or khaki shorts

  • No denim or corduroy

  • Hem at knee level

For Girls:

  • Skirts, jumpers or skorts with hem at knee level

  • No denim or corduroy

  • Shorts must be worn under skirts and jumpers.

For Girls and Boys:

  • If belt loops are exposed, a belt is required. (Kindergarten students are exempt from belt requirements.)

  • Logos on shirts, blouses, sweatshirts or sweaters are not allowed.

  • Logos on pants, skirts or shorts may not be visible from the front and may be allowed only on the rear waist band or pocket as designed by the manufacturer (maximum size is 2").
     

For Girls and Boys:

  • Rubber-soled shoes

  • Closed heel and toe style

  • Appropriate for fitness activities and running on the playground
     

For Girls and Boys:

  • Sweaters or sweatshirts may be worn over the approved shirts.

  • Cardigan, pullover, or vest style sweaters

  • Approved solid colors only (navy blue, light blue, royal blue, red, white, or hunter green)

  • May not be tied around neck or waist
     

GENERAL RULES FOR BOTH: 
  • Pants must be classic style, straight or pleated, no big legs.
  • No oversized, baggy clothing
  • No cut-off or frayed pant legs
  • Uniform parts must be a solid color.
  • Coats and jackets should only be worn at appropriate times.  While in the classroom, they should be placed in lockers.  Approved sweaters, vests, and sweatshirts (see guidelines above) may be worn over approved shirts.  Coats and jackets should not be tied around waists or necks.
     
All students who pre-enrolled in the spring and summer are expected to be in standard dress on the first day of school.  Any student enrolling after August 1st will have 4 weeks to comply with the dress code.  The standard dress is expected every school day unless exceptions are made by the school administration:  spirit days (Townley t-shirt day is every Friday.  Uniform pants or appropriate jeans must be worn.), picture days, or special curriculum needs.
