  • pumpkin Fall in Love with Reading Contest 

    The Irving Schools Foundation is hosting a Twitter campaign and awarding a grant to the winning school. Entries will be accepted from October 24th-30st. All pumpkins will be displayed in the Townsell Library. 

    Carve, paint, or decorate a pumpkin that represents a character from your favorite book or novel.

    Post a photo of your pumpkin on Twitter with #ISFReads.

    Be sure to follow @iisdfoundation to be eligible to win an ISF grant for your school.

  • red ribbon   Red Ribbon Week October 24-28, 2016

       Join us in the fun ways to demonstrate our willingness to stay drug free.


       Monday, October 24“Hugs Not Drugs!” Bring your favorite stuffed animal to school. 


       Tuesday, October 25 - “Put a Cap on Drugs” Wear a cap to school.


       Wednesday, October 26       “Lei Off Drugs” Dress Hawaiian. Wear a Hawaiian shirt and leis with uniform bottoms.


       Thursday, October 27          “Team Up Against Drugs”  Wear school uniform bottoms with team shirts such as little league or Pro Sports team.


       Friday, October 28                “Be a HERO not a zero.”  Choose not to use drugs.  Dress up as a real hero (police officer, fire fighter) or a super hero.
