Travis Choirs have a strong tradition of success. They have consistently won awards for their outstanding

musicianship. The choirs have received first division and best in class awards from the Sandy Lake Choir Festival, the Hurricane Harbor Choir Festival, and the Star of Texas Choir Festival in Plano.

The 7th and 8th grade choirs consistently receive First Division and Sweepstakes awards at

U.I.L. Choir Concert and Sight-reading Contest.

The Travis Choirs perform regularly for the community at places such as the Los Colinas Rotary Club,

Baylor Irving Hospital and city retirement villages and nursing homes.

Many students sing solos and ensembles at contest and perform those solos for friends and families at Solo Recitals. Several students audition and are chosen to be members of the elite Region XX MS Region Choir.

Travis Choirs have performed a variety of music and concerts of different themes such as

“Rock the Jukebox”, “Disney Spectacular”, “A Patriotic Salute”, “Circle of Friends”, “Just Sing It”,

“A Celebration of Smiles”, “This is How We Do It”, “Together at Christmas”,

“Songs Around the World” and “Just a Bunch of Nonsense”.
