LETTERS
from FELIX – Part 2
Part 1 - Hand write your letter to me. This should already be done and I will
passing it back today.
Part 2 – Today you (and your partner) will type your rough draft and begin to
add information to it. Follow the following directions…
1. Log on to the computer
2. Open a WORD document
3. Type your letter (take turns if
there are 2 of you)
a. Remember when you are typing that it is a letter,
not a list
b.
Include
the date and your name
4. Save your letter
a. Click file
b. Choose "save as"
c. The file name should be your name and the place you
are writing from. Example – garzatexas
d. Find your H:Drive in the top drop down box and make
sure it is selected.
IF
YOU ARE HAVING ANY PROBLEMS PLEASE ASK FOR HELP!
5. If you complete the above steps you can print (ask first)
Be sure to choose the COMMUNITY PRINTER
6.
I will then edit it for you.
7. While I am editing you may begin researching 3 facts or new ideas that
you did not include in your letter about your place.

At this point you will add the 3 facts or new items to your letter.

Do not list them
b.
Underline them
No matter where you stop – save your paper to
your H drive
