Purpose of IISD Online Courses

The purpose of the Irving ISD Virtual School is to offer students flexible learning opportunities through challenging, relevant online courses that will lead them toward completion of their graduation plans. This is to ACCELERATE credits for students, NOT to remediate.
An online Health Education class will be offered the Summer 2007. Up to 25 students entering grades 7-12 may choose to enroll in this pilot class.  This will provide those students with greater flexibility in scheduling classes/electives by getting this required credit completed early.
