Irving
Improves to 3 and 1 by Defeating Southlake and Keller
Irving won both or their games Sunday
defeating Southlake by a score of 5 to 4 and shutting out Keller 1 to 0.
Against Southlake Irving came back late
in the first period to tie the game 1 to 1. During the second period Irving
scored 3 more goals to take command of the game and added one more in the
third.
Irving out shot Southlake 17 to 10.
Konrad Stoick had a 1
goal and 2 assists,
Jason Roemer scored 2
goals,
Cole Edwards
and
Ricky Frazier each had 1goal.
In the second game the WolfPack’s
defense dominated Keller allowing only 7 shots on goal. Irving’s goalie
Kameron Martin made some outstanding saves while the offense kept the
pressure on the opponent. The game winning goal was scored by
Konrad Stoick assisted
by
David Lusty with 4:03 left in the game.
