Text Box: This is the second year for Barbara Lee to serve as the Lamar MS choir director. She taught at Elliott Elementary in the Irving ISD for 12 years. She is a native Irvingite and graduated from Nimitz High School where she was in the choral program. Mrs. Lee graduated from East Texas State University (now Texas A & M Commerce) with a Bachelor’s in Music Education. She is involved with children’s summer camps at the Irving Arts Center where she has served as instructor and most recently as the Assistant Camp Coordinator. Mrs. Lee also provides piano accompaniment for several music contests, churches and other events in the Metroplex.
