Networks Overview

Lab Peer-To-Peer setup:

Peer-To-Peer set up is conducted by the CMAT Lab Computer Administrator using the following guidelines.

Computer Name:

    Includes the computer control number, the abbreviation for the work group area, and abbreviation for the team name (i.e. 859-00742W1TA, 859-00743W3TC.)

Work Group: [all team member computers must be in the same work group.]

    There are four team work groups: Team A, Team B, Team C and Team D.

IISD Server Access:

Internet access is through irvingisd.net and restricted to those computers designated for that purpose. Designated computers are configured by the Administrator to access IISD's server. In addition, an e-mail address is maintained for authorized Internet correspondence.
