 | Can't import a file type known to be compatible in Macromedia Director. |
(1) If you're having trouble importing a file type known to be compatible with Macromedia Director you may have a double loading of Director 6.5. Click on 'Start', 'Programs', 'Macromedia Director 6.5', and see if two ('Director 6.5' and 'Director 6.5 [2]') execute files appear. If so, save your project and close the program you are in. Chose/open 'Director 6.5[2]' and reopen you're project - no guarantees.
(2) You might also try, while in the import menu, double clicking the 'Computers Near Me' icon, opening the computer in the work area the file was developed in, open that 'Net Transfer' folder and import from the original computer rather than the W3 computer.
