In science, we are starting the
Rocks and Minerals kit. Students will learn the difference
between rocks and minerals and learn the different characteristics of rocks and
minerals.
In math, we are studying long
division. Please make sure your child is studying his/her
multiplication facts. It is much easier to learn long division if they
have memorized their
facts.
In social studies, we are working
on a webquest focusing on the events of the Texas
Revolution. Students are learning about Sam Houston, Stephen F. Austin,
and other heroes
that played a major part in the Texas Revolution.
