Text Box: It was a BIG night! The schoolhouse doors opened at 6:30, and the families poured into the decked out building. Everyone had smiles on their faces. In all my years of teaching, I have never seen a better prepared school building. The teachers and children went all out to decorate for their honored guests, our parents. All of the classrooms and hallways donned the projects and papers that our children had so carefully prepared. It was great! Children and parents were everywhere! They looked at every inch of Lively. Text Box: classrooms of the children. Everyone wanted to see the wonderful items the children had prepared. Pride covered the faces of all the parents and children. Another popular place to visit was the cafeteria where the specials teachers greeted all of the honored guests. Many of the students brought checklists from their teachers to check off the special stops in the building. It was a BIG night. The best thing about our open house is that the Lively family came together for one night. That brings smiles to many faces!

We Need Your Old PHONE BOOKS!!!

We are collecting old phone books for recycling! If you have a chance to come by the school and take a look at the collection we have gathered. The students are trying to win a district-wide contest and they want to turn the principal, me, GREEN! It they reach the goal, I will be green for a day! Help us recycle and win the contest! The drive will be over soon.
