Education Week is a useful site for educators who want to stay up to date on the latest happenings in the world of education and education politics. The link is Ed Week.
Rethinking Schools is a publication dedicated to bringing equity to education. This fits their vision that education needs to be humane and caring and of course effective. Its link is Rethinking Schools.
The Department of Education also has a helpful web site packed with information. The web site can be found at Department of Education.

Organizations
that do not support what bilingual education is or represents
The first organization that is very vocal against bilingual education is the ironically named Center for Equal Opportunity. Their dogma can be read at: http://www.ceousa.org/.
Next, is the link to Ron Unz's organization. He is the gentleman that dismantled many but not all bilingual education programs in California and Arizona. You can read here about his organization. http://www.onenation.org/.
The next few organization all promote English as the official language of the United States. Obviously they promote a homogenous society with one language. What a boring place to live. Their rhetoric follows here:
