Student Charge Guidelines
Irving ISD allows students to charge up to a maximum of five lunches on exhausted meal accounts for reimbursable lunches only. Any charge by a student will initiate a message through the School Messenger system to notify the parent of the charge.
Payments may be made via cash or check at the school cafeteria, or online at Schoolcafe.com. A student that has charged the district maximum of five lunches will be offered a courtesy lunch consisting of a cheese sandwich, vegetable or fruit and a carton of 100% fruit juice.
Charging will be discontinued May 11, approximately three weeks prior to the last day of school.
The following items cannot be charged:
- Ala carte and snack items
- Meals for staff or visitors
Breakfast is offered at no cost to all Irving ISD students.
