Irving ISD has implemented a new learning management system (LMS) called Canvas for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Canvas is a one-stop digital classroom for both in-person and remote learning.
Both parents and students will be able to utilize this new and improved LMS to:
- View and submit assignments
- Track student progress
- Interact with teachers
- Check student grades and attendance
- Accessing other digital tools such as Seesaw, BrainPOP, Smarty Ants, etc.
- and more!
Canvas Login Instructions
To access your child’s Canvas account, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Visit Learn.IrvingISD.net.
Step 2: Type in your child’s unique login information. This information can be found in an email sent to families on August 7.
- If you didn't receive the email, you can change your child’s password here: https://www.irvingisd.net/studentpassword.
- If you need assistance logging in, email email@example.com and include the student ID and campus name.
Important to Note: Students will use this same login to access their technology devices.
Step 3: Students can practice logging in now and will have full access to their courses on the first day of school.
To access your Parent Canvas account, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Visit https://learn.irvingisd.net/login/canvas
Step 2: For new accounts click "Parent of a Canvas User" on the top right.
Step 3: If you have not created an account, a Parent Signup Window will pop up. Enter your information and then select the Red button to "Start Participating".
