  • Irving ISD is operating within the MTSS Framework to provide tiered support and enrichment for ALL learners. We are committed to research-based practices that yield the highest level of success. We employ targeted and appropriate tiered systematic instruction based on identified student needs in the areas of academic, behavior and social-emotional learning. 

    Overview

    Irving ISD assumes collective responsibility for ensuring growth and success for all learners. Therefore, we have arrived at a consensus regarding the importance of adopting the MTSS framework and commit to the principles and practices that guide implementation. Tiered Interventions Using Evidence-Based Research (TIER)

  • Tiered Interventions Using Evidence-Based Research, or TIER, is a project funded by the Texas Education Agency. Our goal is to provide educators, caregivers, and other educational stakeholders with the knowledge and materials to ensure appropriate implementation of multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) in every school across Texas.
