Physical Therapy

  • Physical Therapists address the ability of the student to move parts of the body, to assume and maintain postures, and organize movements into functional gross motor skills.  Physical therapy interventions are designed to:

    · Enable the student to travel through the school environment

    · Participate in classroom activities

    · Maintain and change positions in the classroom

    · Manage stairs, restrooms, cafeterias or the school bus.
