  • Destination Imagination

Lamar sent one small group of students to this year’s Regional Tournament, held in Haltom City this past Saturday.  This small group of 6th graders have been working extra hard, twice a week, since December to prepare themselves for the tournament. This year, they chose the Improv Challenge, where they placed 5th out of all the middle level teams who performed (a total of 16 teams).  Lamar’s Nerdy Birdy Trio was the only team to place in the Middle Level Improv Challenge in Irving ISD!  In addition to placing, this team also won the Spirit of DI award for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and dynamic imagination!
