Jennifer Dickson, Principal
Ms. Dickson is thrilled to be Principal at Pierce Early Childhood for a fifth year! She believes that every child deserves an opportunity to engage in the highest quality education possible. She believes that Pre-Kindergarten is the foundation for every child's amazing education. She strives to serve students, staff and parents to ensure that all students feel that school is a place where they are loved, valued and free to grow! Prior to becoming the Principal at Pierce, she had the privilege to serve in administrator positions for the previous 6 years in Irving ISD at Johnston Elementary, Barton Elementary and Townsell Elementary. Before that she was a classroom teacher for 11 years in first, second, fourth, fifth and sixth grades in Wichita, Kansas and Dallas ISD.
Ms. Dickson makes servant leadership a priority every day while acting with integrity in all matters. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family and traveling all over the world. Her dog, Edith, keeps her on her toes each day at home. She genuinely loves serving the students, staff, families and community of Pierce.
Tracy Gonzales, Assistant Principal
Tracy Gonzales joined our campus in February 2017. She comes to us from Dallas ISD with 25 years in education. Mrs. Gonzales has served as a classroom teacher, Instructional Coach, Principal Fellow, and Assistant Principal. She loves working with students, teachers, and the community. Her educational credentials include a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies from UT Arlington and a Masters in Educational Leadership from UT Tyler. She believes that we are all born with great potential and that it is up to each of us to activate and encourage one another to our greatest potential. Always growing and learning.
