Board Goals

Goal 1

In Irving ISD, each student will reach their highest potential and be college and career ready.

• Sub Goal 1: In Irving ISD, we will increase the percentage of 3rd-grade students who score Meets Grade Level or above on STAAR Reading from 29% to 44% by June 2029.
• Sub Goal 2: In Irving ISD, we will increase the percentage of 3rd-grade students who score Meets Grade Level or above on STAAR Math from 25% to 38% by June 2029.
• Sub Goal 3: In Irving ISD, we will increase overall CCMR Meets from 72% to 90% by 2029.

Goal 2

In Irving ISD, we will increase parent and community engagement in the city of Irving.

Goal 3

In Irving ISD, we will provide state-of-the-art facilities that rethink the present design of education for all students.
