Election Information

2025 Board of Trustee Election

Order of Election

The 2025 Election for Board of Trustees for Single Member Districts 5, 6 and 7 are scheduled to take place on May 3, 2025.

A School Board Trustee representing Single Member District 5 is to be elected on May 3, 2025 to serve a term of three (3) years.

A School Board Trustee representing Single Member District 6 is to be elected on May 3, 2025 to serve a term of three (3) years.

A School Board Trustee representing Single Member District 7 is to be elected on May 3, 2025 to serve a term of three (3) years.

Irving ISD Board of Trustee Elections are conducted in May of each year in accordance with the Texas Secretary of State Uniform General Election Date and Board Policy BBB(Local).

Candidates interested in filing an application for a place on the ballot can file their application beginning Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

The filing deadline for a general election is 5 PM on Friday, February 14, 2025.

The deadline to file a declaration of write-in candidacy is 5 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2025
