Steps to Become a Leader in Irving ISD
To begin the process of becoming a Leader in Irving ISD, follow the steps below:

1. Complete the Application Submit an online application and upload all required documents. |

2. Campus Interview Selected applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview with the campus. |

3. Reference Check References are contacted as part of the hiring process. |
 |
4. Offer Extended Candidates selected for employment will receive an official job offer from Irving ISD. |

EMPLOYMENT INTEREST FORM
Principals
The primary role of the principal is to direct and manage the instructional program, as well as supervise operations at the campus level. In addition, the principal will provide instructional leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service, direct the implementation of District policies and instructional programs, and manage the operation of all campus activities.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Administrator's Certificate
- Prior experience in instructional leadership roles
- At least three (3) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher
Assistant Principals
The primary role of the assistant principal is to assist the campus principal with the administration of campus instructional program(s), and daily operations.
Minimum Qualifications include:
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Administrator's Certificate
- At least three (3) years' successful experience as a classroom teacher
