Campus Coordinators

The AVID coordinator provides direction and vision of the AVID philosophy for all teachers and students on campus. Site coordinators engage in high-quality, relevant professional learning, networking and coaching to support implementation, acceleration, and sustainability of their AVID College and Career Readiness System. Site coordinators implement WICOR as a means for bolstering rigor on a campus, with a focus on supporting high-quality instruction across all classrooms. As facilitator of the AVID Site Team, they develop teacher leaders and nurture a culture to support and model the four key elements of the AVID CCR Framework: Insist on Rigor, Break Down Barriers, Align the Work, and Advocate for Students.
